About PDI Surgery Center

PDI Surgery Center is a non-profit community based organization and dental surgery center that treats children with severe tooth decay under general anesthesia. PDI hope to eliminate the pain, suffering and distractions that living with Early Childhood Caries (cavities) causes.  By continuing to collaborate with clinics, school-based programs and other non-profits, PDI Surgery Center will remain a vital resource for children in urgent need of dental surgery in and beyond the North Bay. PDI is a licensed and accredited ambulatory surgery center.

Treatment

Our pediatric-trained clinical staff provides treatment for children under fourteen with tooth decay or a medical necessity for dental surgery under general anesthesia.

Prevention

PDI Dentists and Case Managers educate parents in all aspects of oral hygiene—care of teeth, nutrition, including assistance in obtaining health insurance and a dental home.

Along with surgery, PDI also provides families with information regarding care for their child’s teeth and nutrition advice to educate.
